Rev Kriss Hades' solo recordings are great works to meditate on. Classical guitar, noise, ambient and utter sonic blackness all exist within the Reverend's chaos feulled aural assault. Not strictly Metal but well worth a listen. His cover of Sad Ex's 'Black Mass Murder' is fucking hideous!

Interesting article on a diverse and interesting scene :)

Hello,

if you are worried about Prozak's opinion, please contact him through the ANUS site or the Metal Hall forum, since we have no way of establishing a telepathical link to him right now.

But if you are interested to read other trustworthy, independent reviews of the mentioned bands, I recommend the LARM archive @ http://www.anus.com/metal/about/larm/.

Dear Devamitra:
I list the following bands I read on the Australian Metal article:
Armoured Angel,
Anatomy,
Nazxul,
Nåstrond,
Osculum Infame,
and I have considered buying one album of each band. Now before I do that, I´d like to know your opinion on these bands because nothing would suck more than to later find a Prozak article on the Dark Legions Archive saying how much these bands suck or how of lesser importance they are, or his typical "...but as a work of meaningful art and a listening experience, it is worthless..." you know how he is. I mean I totally worship the guy and it´s kinda nasty to listen to an album he totally destroyed on review.

Anyway, there are many bands here, not listed on Prozak´s Archive that I´d like to check out and I realized Deathmetal.org and Heidenlarm are pretty reliable sources where not to find crap metal I even thought You were Prozak under a different pseudeonym.

Thanx man.

Have a good day.

You forgot Urgrund. I think they are worthy a mention or two.

D666 and Nazxul are my champion of Australian metal. Thanks for mentioning Midnight Odyssey, they are very interesting.
