"Firmanent" was in the top class of albums last year. Maybe it's time to dig the old CMI relics from where I buried them when the genre went pseudo cinematic. The non-percussive black metal idea is welcome also, as I was just last week worshipping the Thorns guitars-only demo. Some of the Les Legions Noires tape projects also had interesting experiments.
