Dave Mustaine Can’t Be Trusted With Good Ideas
In a recent radio interview documented on Blabbermouth, Dave Mustaine said that he makes the revolving cast of Megadeth submit their ideas to Megadeth’s label and management.

Interview: Jechael of Amon
Interview conducted by Max Bloodworth.
There has been a lot of interest surrounding the Hoffman brothers after their departure from Deicide. After some time under the radar, they reformed Amon with Jechael on bass and vocals to once again make death metal. Amon’s album, Liar in Wait, sounds like a mixture of old and later era Deicide with a different vocalist. Judging by how Deicide has pretty much rendered themselves irrelevant after the Hoffman’s departure, the potential for good death metal is in the Amon camp more than the Nu-Deicide camp. Below is an interview with Jechael, the bassist and vocalist of Amon.

Master’s Hammer – Live in Prague, 13th June 2017
Master’s Hammer played their first live show in over twenty five years recently at the Futurum bar in Prague this June. Most of the set, which entirely consisted of tracks from Ritual, was filmed by Tomáš Havránek who uploaded it to his Youtube channel. The performances are excellent and energetic so fans of the band should watch it. Word of warning, the presence of nude models makes this not safe for American workplaces in contrast to the Cronenbergian imagery our staff loves.

Sadistic Intent Playing Maryland Deathfest 2018
Underground death metal legends Sadistic Intent are the only good band currently booked for the 2018 iteration of Maryland Deathfest, North America’s premier SJW pandering pseudo-metal festival. The only other notable booking is Sinister, who are playing with a heavily gutted lineup with Aad Kloosterwaard as the only original member. He doesn’t even play drums anymore but just does the vocals now. Headbangers would be wise to avoid this yearly reoccurring cancer.

Blood & Sadistic Intent Playing Netherlands Deathfest 2018
Blood, Sadistic Intent, Suffocation, Angel Witch, Root, and Mortuary Drape are playing the 2018 Netherlands iteration of the social justice warrior organized Deathfest series of festivals. This one will run from March 2nd to March 4th and will be a good chance for Dutch headbangers to check out Sadistic Intent and Blood live. Hopefully the sound will not be as terrible as everyone is saying it was when Maryland Deathfest moved to a parking lot surrounded by junkie encampment in Baltimore.

Mayhem Fall 2017 European Tour
Mayhem are touring Europe this fall. I presume they will be playing De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas in its entirety. Mike Alexander’s friend Jon Browning submitted a review of the Washington, DC date earlier this year. From Jon’s review, Euro headbangers can expect triggers from Hellhammer and sloppy lead guitar performances from the stand-ins.
