A Discussion on The Metal FAQ: Section 1.1

The Death Metal Underground FAQ is an ancient yet valuable and reliable document full of information to help the less initiated grasp some of the simpler aspects of metal.  It is also a wonderful attempt to actually explain the Hessian ideals, culture and music.  The music section is particularly small and contains a fairly large amount of information and therefore it is time to open it up and go into the details of the points mentioned and what needs to be changed, for it is only through constant analysis of past work can we build upon them and progress.

Sepultura’s Sons

Hessians were always searching for anything heavy back in the eighties. Digging deep into the import section or buying blindly from catalogs or zines were the only ways to hear anything that could be heavier outside of rarely engaged in underground tape trading. Upcoming Unaussprechlichen Kulten Album

hail-satan-not-heil-hitler

Antifascist terrorists attacked the police protecting the Messe des Morts festival in Montreal on Saturday in response to Graveland, Mgła, and Forteresse playing, who the terrorist all accuse of being Neo-Nazis who wanted to violate Montreal’s safe space. The leftist terrorists purchased tickets to the sold out festival on the second-hand market, infiltrated the crowd wearing ski masks, and threw smoke grenades at the entrances. The antifa terrorists attacked the police who were supposed to be protecting the venue, artists, and concertgoers from their planned protest. One of the “protesters” turned terrorists was Alexandre Boulerice, federal MP for the New Democratic Party in the Rosemont-La-Petite-Patrie riding. The police ended up shutting down the festival for “safety reasons”.

deathspell-omega-the-synarchy-of-molten-bones
Article by Lance Viggiano.

Deathspell Omega return with another uninspired and uninspiring record entitled The Synarchy of Molten Bones. In an effort to build ambience, additional guitar tracks would attempt to produce a microtonal effect without actual production of microtones; just more dissonance. These techniques were then deployed over pop-leaning melodies which become pronounced should one decide to hum the otherwise atonal morass.
