Dusk-Bound

The success of endeavors that carry with them the implication of development or transformation, such as the evolution of an artistic genre (without any relation to the ‘progress’ of dialectical materialism), requires the constant testing of strength, the crossing of one’s boundaries. Contrary to the beliefs of the simple minded, this does not mean that the act of crossing those lines is in itself enough for a fully-formed conclusion to be presented, although there is indeed great value in violation itself. But one could argue that the great weapons of the mind, enacted, come as a result of a full digestion and re-application of invaluable experience and information that comes from the crude testing of strength, directed towards the intuited limits of the yet unexplored.

Samael Release “Angel of Wrath” Lyric Video

Samael released a new lyric video, “Angel of Wrath”, from their upcoming Hegemony album which comes out October 13th on Napalm Records. Once again do not buy it. “Angel of Wrath” is boring black ‘n’ roll bullcrap for goth girls who discovered Disturbed and Agalloch. Samael need to quit even pretending to make metal music. Samael now pretend to play metal like how little boys pretend to cook and shave like fully grown adults. Samael need to grow up and get a life. “Metal” clearly is not suiting them.

Anders Björler Quits At the Gates

Anders Björler has quit At the Gates according to a statement posted on the band’s Facebook page. Nevertheless At the Gates is pressing forward with more new, lame material that nobody wants to hear as it won’t match the band’s prime period headed by Alf Svensson capped by Gardens of Grief and The Red in the Sky is Ours. Nobody was particularly fond of At War With Reality. The rest of At the Gates should join Alf Svensson and Anders Bjorler in throwing in the towel for good.

Gizmodo Calls For Discord Censorship

Social justice warrior ricer gadget platform Gizmodo has called for censorship of the Discord chat client. Discord is rapidly replacing Skype and internet relay chat (IRC) among PC gamers, political junkies, and well-connected people due to the seamless integration between text and voice along with the collapse of Skype after being purchased by Microsoft. The social justice warriors and cultural Marxists will stop at nothing until every possible forum for dissent is reduced to singing hymns to a portrait of a dear supreme leader who would love to send anyone who annoys him, including antifa nags, to reeducation camps as work will set them free.

At the Gates Members Form The Lurking Fear

Various members of the At the Gates have formed a side project known as The Lurking Fear. Former guitarist and primary songwriter of Gardens of Grief and The Red in the Sky is Ours Alf Svensson is disappointingly not among them. With At the Gates regressing to commercial speed metal after half of With Fear I Kiss the Burning Darkness, The Lurking Fear promise to play weird, evil, and twisted death metal again. We’ll see about that.
