Impaled Nazarene
Latex Cult
[Osmose]

In the violently punkish style of their later days, this Finnish cult band produces a rather bland album of basic 'songs'. Without any attempt to reach levels of darkness, impurity or fear, however succeeding to capture some post-industrial angst and a kind of violent malevolence, they blast through the consecutive tracks in a respectably held-together manner. The fragmentation of the band members into a group united by not much more than an interest to play loud music together, and perhaps drink lots of alcohol, loses the intensity that made, say, 'Ugra-Karma' such a satanic affair.

Never mind the LaVey background, they used to be dark, and there should be something positive also to say about this album. And if you get into it from the Motörhead/hc-pigs angle, it probably will give some kicks and ooomph.
