This one here is a totally epic album. It’s epic and heavy like a doomy imposing Norwegian runestone erected by an old Viking. I really like it.
The main thing here is long, flowing, really continuous songs of metal mysticism that sounds a bit like really raw BATHORY or BURZUM and sometimes feels a bit like MANOWAR.
The feeling is that it’s been written in a short time, with quite simple guitar leads that go on and on for maybe ten minutes, varying slightly and keeping it interesting while the overall sound is so fuzzy and monstrously raw that it has that special ambience you expect from ultra-raw, sick black metal.
