Dark Requiems... and Unsilent Massacre is the latest HE album, and after this one I'll never buy any of their albums again. I waited this album with impatience, because I liked their first one, The Slaughter of Innocence, but here HE has failed. Again, and I'm not surprised, the vocals are very high, but they are even more horrible than those on The Slaughter... (they sound like my jammed grinder when I try to start it). Again, the lyrics are (very) long, beautiful and satanic. However, the melancholic atmosphere is gone. The songs are well executed, but the compositions are not very good : all the songs are now fucking happy and the clear vocals sounds like the whispers of a 80 yrs old man dying on his stretcher. Worse, the song "Upon the Kingdom Throne" reminds me a song from the American movie Rocky.

The Slaughter of Innocence was ok (the instrumental songs were really good, but not here). But this one is a bad joke, a black metal parody à la Walt-Disney. Don't waste your money with this shit.
