First of all, the band name and the title are translations/Anglicizations by the distro (Beverina) from where I obtained it . . so if its wrong, oops. The band name is in French or something and looks like "Cebephbie Bpata" . . but what do I know. OK, anyway, this isn't terrible, but it is also not entirely something to run out and get. A recent find of mine has been Vintersorg, a fine mix of metal (some blackish, some traditional/power) and clean vocals spouting old Norse (or French or something) lyrics evoking a reverence for the past and for metal in general. This band's sound is not different from Vintersorg's, except a grunted vocal is employed as the lead on one or two songs and overall does not inspire the same reverence as Vintersorg. This tape is all pro and thank the gods for that, because we get a clear cover photo of the band. One dude is wearing a raccoon cap . . yea, like Daniel Boone, with the tail and everything . . simply awe-inspiring.
