Hail of Rage is pissed off (obviously) hardcore grind in the vein of the infamous Drop Dead. This slab of anger rages through thirteen songs in a blazing fury of hatred and violence. The lyrics are pathetically socio-political, but at least they're angry as fuck. Even the band's name and the cover art look pissed. The blast doesn't run as rampant on this as with many a grindcore band, but Hail of Rage uses that standard punk/grind (?) tempo and beat a lot of the time, which I can't get enough of. I'm not sure if the band is still around, but hopefully this record is still easily available, because all you Dimmu Borgir/Cradle of Filth-loving pussies need to hear some real music. FUCK YOU.
