[Nordland]

Nordland has put out an extremely interesting and entertaining compilation of white power bands, the finest I've ever heard. In this day it is sort of a miracle that something like this could see light of day. It is so against the grain politically and we all know freedom of speech is basically a myth. It is a joy for me to see a proud few stand tall for their beliefs and shed some light against the propaganda that we are constantly submitted to.

A great collection of bands here with a mix of styles. Kicking off the CD are American band BLUE EYED DEVILS. Metal based and quite good. Good vocals over cool rythmic power thrash. I particularily liked their 'On The Attack' track. Good opening band, got the blood flowing. Next up we got VOLKSTROI. Their two tracks show a bit more musical depth and feature a powerful vocalist who sings in German. Mid-paced metal with a bit of menace to it. Their second track dsplays some musical versatility with mix of styles. PLUTON SVEA are more rock based with irrestible catchiness and melody. Their 'Segregation' offering is a tune that remains on mental replay throughout the day whenever I listen to it, can't get it out of my head. Me thinks they're Swedish. I don't like CELTIC WARRIOR. A second tier band in my opinion. I particularily disliked the vocals, nice guitar solo though in 'The White Flame'. STURMWEHR have the best track on the disc with 'The Hammer'. Very metal and speedy with infectious melody. Gotta acquire more material from this band. I hate VE'RSZERZODE's first offering, it's sort of hip hoppy rap metal. Fucking lame and weak. They rebound slightly with their second song. Immensely better and a direction they should continue to head toward. HEYSEL kick ass!!! Rough vocals over fast energetic metal. Very cool, another band that I must look into. CENOTAPH bored me. Uninspired American metal with poor vocals, absolutely nothing that grabs my attention and prevents me from hitting the skip button. Next!!! STONEHAMMER features a big burly dude. Not my bag man but the dude gets credit for belting out a tune (dude can sing) and attitude.
