Autumn Tears
Promotional Sampler Collection
[Dark Symphonies]

This comp CD isn't for sale, just available as introduction to Autumn Tears for zombies like me. The tracks are taken from their 4 releases. This is NOT metal. 'Dark, orchestral and dramatic music, incorporating somber, neoclassical symphonies with enchanting vocals, foreboding poetry, duets and medieval melodies. Influences range from chant and classical music, to Enya, Stoa and earlier Dead Can Dance' is written on the back of the CD slipcase.

In other words, keyboards with etheral female singing. A few songs caught my attention. Deserves a few more spins, and since it doesn't try to be metal, has a lady singing and reciting, I'll let the artsy fartsy angle slide for now. This will appeal more to the goth crowd, but death and black metallers with an open mind can appreciate it also.
