Their most accessible album so far. The band still retains a good deal of heaviness and their Gothic romanticism while remaining skillful songwriters. This time though, the record is really polished and aimed towards a wider audience. Doom metal fans in general and MDB fans in particular will definitely enjoy it, but "Turn Loose the Swans" is still MDB's best.
