Again, Immortal had produced a good album with "Blizzard Beasts" : the vocals are even more devilish than those on Pure Holocaust, the rhythm is, again real fast and aggressive. However, Immortal introduced, for the first time, some keyboard parts on the song "Mountains of Might"! The guitars sound, as always, is very fuzzy but, this time, with some death metal influences (it reminds me, sometimes, some Morbid Angel, on Altars of Madness). Also, more solos are included in the music. The drums are really great! Fast and brutal as hell !!! The lyrics are, again, about northern themes (icestorms with demons, frost, etc) and death... just check the song titles, and they are absolutely pathetic, without any meaning... Some people say that the production is not good, but I find it ok. Conclusion : Good album. Maybe a little short...

Good points :
- The singer is better!
- Again, great drumming
- Technical music, very brutal & cold.

Bad Points :
- Too short
