Angelcorpse
Wolflust
[EVR]

The brutal drum fills, Sodom-ish guitar simplicity and insane chorus make the title track worth its weight in jewish corpses alone! Mr. Helmkamp's vocals are a treat here as well; raw, raspy, and nasty of course. Side two is "Burning in Hell", and when considering the other two covers I've heard the band do ("Genghis Khan" from "Killers" which did a great job on the melody, and "Pleasure to Kill") this is easily the best of the lot.

Sure Angelcorpse get slagged for "ripping off" Morbid Angel here and there. I think they represent truly violent and pure extreme metal in its best form. Long live Angelcorpse, and be sure to check out their other great live 7', "Nuclear Hell"!
