On Frost, the music is very brutal, but with a lot of calm and melodic passages (with vikings clear vocals), like on the last song, Isöders Dronning and on Yggdrasil. Keyboards are sometimes used, but they are not really necessary, as they rarely fit with the rest of the songs they are in. The drumming is really great (done by Trym, who left Enslaved to join the whores of Emperor) : fast, brutal, the rhythm is always changing. The vocals are very special, shouted, and the lyrics are in norwegian (it's normal...), but there is an english translation in the booklet, and, obviously, they are about the vikings and their mythology... The production is ok. The only thing that could be better are the clear vocals, as they could be more powerful...

Conclusion:
There's nothing much to say about this. Good, original stuff, but can get boring at the long run.
