Usually ALGAION are placed within the realms of the Black Metal scene. I don't know how much this differs from earlier releases since this is the first recording of them that I actually consciously hear, but this is Hardcore. It's not even Norsecore as one would've suspected, it's real Hardcore in the vein of MACHINE HEAD or PANTERA... Some of the tracks also have a massive METALLICA (,Black Album"- period) influence. If you like that, go ahead. I think it's not worth the trouble...
