Coming from the Black Metal side of things, MORNINGSTAR from Suomi Finland are some kind of a missing link between the Black Metal and the Power Metal scene. Only Ari's harsh vocals still remind of their BM past while the music is in the vein of traditional Thrash Metal (= early SLAYER, RAZOR, DESTRUCTOR, ONSLAUGHT etc) without ever reaching high speed and completely void of any staccato rhythm. BULLDOZER is another act that springs to mind after a while... My favourite track on this CD is "The Spirit (of the Bottle)"... Listen and you'll understand, hehehe.
