This shares some melodic ideas with the Gothenburg scene (seems to be the word of the day), but this is faster and much darker and more straightforward. Think Merciless meets early Ceremonial Oath. Production is clear, but not the standard Fredman sound (but it was recorded in Fredman). Riffs and leads are more thrash oriented than death metal (melodic or otherwise). Drums are solid, vocals are fairly non-standard but still lie in the black metal rasp area.
