Iniquity

This band sure for a Danish death metal band takes the prize of most troublesome existence, having been around since the very early nineties, they released I think two demos, both not with the same line up, also in between those releases the line up changed here and there, and then their vocalist became interested in the joys of the needle, things really went downhill for them. This particular album was recorded in 95, but a line up change in the drum section occurred, and subsequently the drums were re-recorded, I heard a rough mix of one of the songs with the original drumming and I'd say, not that Jesper Frost does bad work here, but the original drumming was better, so was the mixing. But nevertheless this album then became quite delayed, as I recall it was released in 97, by then the band had gotten rid of their vocalist with his bothersome needle habit, and to this day iniquity is still alive... without a single original member. But I digress, this is some great death metal we have here, brutal and filthy, that violently crushes everything in it's path. Although I would have enjoyed hearing the entire album in it's original form, with the original drums and original mix, I can still appreciate this offering of sheer violence. This is death metal! no fucking artsy fartsy shit, no homosexual melodic happy crap, this is fucking death metal in it's best and most ugly form.
