KoK offer majestic and slightly atypical Norwegian black metal. They sometimes remind of Stormblast-era Dimmu Borgir, but are a bit harsher - meaning that they use big, layered chords to create their primary extended rhythms but with a slightly more misanthropic feel. Production is a bit thin, but all is mixed well, and instrumentation is flawless.
