Faith Is In Season
[Pavement]

1998 CD with a fat sound (maybe cuz Paul Speckman is a lardass?). Sort of hardcore meets early 90s death metal. Growled decipherable vocals, production is full, but not gritty. Catchy, upbeat feel. Reminds me of sawing 2 by 4's and pounding nails making a doghouse a year ago. Fans of UNLEASHED, CARNIVORE, WOLFPACK, DISCHARGE, ENTOMBED, etc may be interested in hearing this enjoyable, yet unessential release. Best song is the title track, due to the Sabbath (Dio-era) feel to it.
