Edge of Sanity had originally decided to go back to making another Entombed clone album after Spectral Sorrows, some how fate was on our side and this never materialized. The 4 song MCD "Until Eternity Ends" was supposed to be the melodic material that was going to be left off their new heavy offering. For whatever reason their full length follow up to Spectral Sorrows, Purgatory Afterglow, was not the buzz saw-fest it was intended to be and we are left with four songs that would have easily fit on Purgatory.

The title track is a toe-tappy riff heavy number with lots of Dan's patented clean vocals, track two is a kind of a semi-heavy folk song, track three is a catchy Entombed type song called "Bleed", and track four is a Police cover(!)

For fans of hardcore and E.O.S completists ONLY
