Ancient Swedish black metal, 'Damnation's Pride' has the 'Ovations to Death', 'Damnation's Pride', and 's/t' demo cassettes all on one CD. Two of the members recently joined the Dark Funeral line-up, so these fellows are lifers for sure.

Old Bathory/Venom stylings is the name of the game here. The Venom-ish sing along vocals on "In the Watches of the Night" are rather awful, while the melodies on 'Fallen Arches' are rather genius for their time.

Hey, you know what it'll sound like. Just don't expect to love the vocal performance.
