This album is the musical equivalent of having an ice pick to the skull. Its quite the head rush before you fall on the floor face first with blood gushing out of your ears.
Lord Worm was the best, and most insane extreme metal vocalist of all time before he left the band after this release. He lets out a series of convulsive grunts and burps befor unleashing an ear-shattering scream. Sheer perfection. Flo Mounier's drumming is mind-bogglingly fast and executed without the slightest flaw. Nobody does blast beats like him.
Eric Langlois is also an amazing bassist. The opening bass line on "Phobophile" is a classic. This does Canadian death metal proud.
