[Season of Mist]

There is something rotten in the kingdom of Norway. This disc sounds so unoriginal that it hurts. Melodic death metal is the keyword here and (as usual) it sucks heavily. I can’t come up with a single positive word regarding this release. The vocals is boring and the instruments create some of the most boring and uninnovative mess I’ve heard in a long time and don’t even get me started on the compositions. It seems they have tried to wave some folk-influences into the whole thing and it goes without saying that they fail miserably.

I bought this disc at the tenth of the normal price and I regard this one of my worst purchases of all time. This is so fucking bad it’s hard to describe. The feeling this disc spurs is an uncontrolled rage with it’s roots in complete utter boredom. That this product comes in high class packaging (full colour booklet and so forth) makes me want to murder someone, anyone, anything. Season of Mist should know that you can polish a dogs shit how much you want but it will still remain just what it is, DOGS SHIT.

This is SHIT and the feelings it spurs is similar to the ones you feel when you accidentally tramples in such. Now you must excuse me, I have a CD to flush down my toilet.
