Arathorn
Niemals Kroender Was Als Einst War
[Folter]

Starts off with some very medieval folk type of keyboard intro, and as such it isn't really all that bad I guess, but but not quite interesting either. The music just continues down the same path as the intro, just with guitars drums and vocals added to it. It's just the typical dark metal thing that you find a lot of, particularly in Germany for some reason, they call their style majestic medieval metal, and that is just a good description as so many other things, but it's just yet another of these albums that are quite difficult to review, because once done playing you are left with a sense of nothing, it has been done before, and it was not interesting then, and it is not interesting now, ten minute long songs doesn't excatly help this to become more interesting either, it's amazing that this is released by Folter Records and not Last Episode, as they specialize in bland empty and meaningless releases...
