Arkhon Infaustus
Hell Injection
[Osmose]

In the lyrics of this album they say that 'Arkhon Infaustus is like cocaine'. That's an interesting way to put it, but this is not addictive, this is not dangerous and neither does this produce any ecstatic sense of dislocation. Honestly this debut album is a bit commercialized and there is very little that wouldn't have been done better by other bands earlier.

I started this review quite harshly considering the fact that most of the stuff that goes on in the scene is much more predictable and overall much less interesting than "Hell Injection". In fact, this album definitely has it's moments if you are looking for sharp bites of satanic death/black metal, 'cocaine'-like if taken from the angle of attacks of blasphemous reverly, overall disconcern for integrity and mostly aimed for a shock effect.
