Marduk
Here's No Peace
[Shadow]

I don't like MARDUK albums after the EXCELLENT "Those of the unlight". Then, the band started to be boring, and, when, in 1996, former OPHTALAMIA vocalist Legion joined the band, I knew it was the end of the band ! So it was a good surprise for me when I heard this CD with old material was out, in 1998. The 3 tracks are different versions of the ones you can find on their first CD, as they are session tracks recorded in December 1991. Their sound is raw, but I cant' blame them for that as I like raw-sounding recordings, and, at the time, they were not prostitutes and certainly had much less money than now... The main problem with that MCD is that it is a limted-edition, and when it was out it was sold about $ 10, for a total legth of 8'... Yes, 8' !!!!!! Shadows records is a real RIP-OFF label !!! And as MARDUK started to become popular, this release quickly became out of stock, hard to get and very expensive (I know there's a shitty digipak re-issue of this MCD, but you know like me that re-issues suck...) So I will recommend you this CD 1) If you like only the first MARDUK recordings 2) If you are a completist 3) If you can get it at for a reasonable price ! Otherwise, ther's no interest in buying it, even if the music is absolutely KILLER !
