Diabolical Fullmoon Mysticism is a total fuckin' classic, that I'd say! It takes the best of the rawness of old Bathory and also inserts a bit of 80/90 turn of the decade death metal like Morbid Angel and smashes into us with total Norwegian Black Metal. Ok, the purists will argue and it's true that it was the 2nd album that developed into something more to the ways of Darkthrone but D.F.M. is simply total metal and it's something metal underground freaks will like even if they don't care for proper norsecore.

The lyrics are totally insane Demonaz' work and the thrashing pounding of the riffs and the stupendously mistreating drumwork of Armagedda who looks like a fuckin' poser, will make you bang your head. If you don't bang your head to songs like Unholy Forces of Evil, you're nothing... that's it, nothing, you might as well be dead, a maggot squished under the boots of the conquering "angel". I recommend this album to all of the old-school maniacs even though if you want to be really serious about it, this one is more about fun than the 2nd classic album, Pure Holocaust.
