It is really a strange recording. I could call it "Junkie black metal" or "insane indus black metal", because the music played by these Norwegian guys is so strange ! A mix between techno (the drum-machine could be the same as the one used by people like Laurent Garnier or Sven Vath, for sure) and Swedish-styled Blak metal, together with some "Norwegian touch" : here is MYSTICUM's world. I can't describe the music, but it is extremely efficient and you can't help banging your head while listening to it. Many parts are martial, most songs come like endless battles, they certainlyrepresent batlles that the members have to lead against their tortured brains ! No need to explain this is certainly why their 2nd LP is still not out : these guys must be in mental asylum now, as they say it in the booklet.
