Now this is more like it! after hearing Conqueror's "Hellstorm of Evil Vengeance split with Black Witchery I was completely blown away by the vicious intensity and brutal pounding hatred that Conqueror spew forth... and as perplex as their demo on "Hellstorm..." was, I was equally amazed by the *VICIOUS*, *SAVAGE*, *PUNISHING*, fucking *BARBARIC* ATTACK of "War Cult Supremacy"!!!! I haven't heard anything this brutalizing since Bestial Warlust or Sacramentary Abolishment - "The Distracting Stone" CD, and perhaps a few others I cant remember at the moment...but FUCK! "War Cult Supremacy" is GREAT!
Guitars: The guitars are sharp and EXTREMELY brutal sounding - like a rusty chainsaw.
Vocals: The vokills are SAVAGE and HATE-FILLED with some great voice affects throughout the album.
Drums: Drums are moved to the front of the mix pounding out ULTRA PUNISHING blast beats and at times creating a wall of noise - like a violent fucking hailstorm!!!! total DEVASTATION!!!
Tracks: The tracks are ALL excellent, and have some great outros of barbaric medieval warfare upon Heathen battlefields...the idea for this is taken from the book "The Conqueror Manifesto" which explains the concept of "SUPERION" etc etc... its also quite apparent that there's a strong Blasphemy influence here of course. Standout tracks are; "The Curse", "Bloodhammer", "Hammer Of Antichrist", "Kingdom Against Kingdom", and "Command For Triumph"
Final Thoughts: The band has since disbanded, R. Forster (Deathaxe and Battlesaw) is now playing bass in Blasphemy full-time and J. Read (Hatehammers and War) is working on his new band REVENGE - be SURE to check out the "Attack Blood Revenge" mCD and the new 7" ep "Superion Command Destroy" REVENGE are keeping it going in the same PULVERIZING nature as Conqueror. HEIL THE KULT!!!
