KATHARSIS certainly plays their best track ever on this EP. Their sound remains a bit the same as on the latest demos or on the other split EPs, maybe a bit better, but in all cases, their mid-tempo black metal is really efficient, ala DARKTHRONE sometimes (well, most of the time actually !), with strident and high vocals that may remind a bit those of GODKILLER or FORGOTTEN WOODS. Anyway, if you don't care the shitty sound of the drumkit and the low production on the guitar parts you'll spend a great time listening to their track.

MOONBLOOD track is in the vein of their fabulous "Taste our german steel !" LP, with exactly the same sound and the same kind of aggressive vocals. The sound's good (if you know the one on "Taste...", you know what I mean : huge bass-sounding track with killer drum parts !), at least it's much better than the horrible sound quality of their track on the split EP with the czec band INFERNO ! This track was released during a 1998 session and will remind you the best moments of this now defunct EXCELLENT band.
