Another side project of HORNA / SATANIC WARMASTER member, the Finnish PEST (R.I.P.) is/was a great dark/black metal band that released a promo tape in 1997 ("goatmaster"), a demo tape in 1998 ("hail the black imperial hornsign") and two 7" ("belial's possessed wolves" and "towads the bestial armageddon"). This compilation CD presents here the two EPs and 4 tracks out of the 5 of the demo (the one missing being the BLASPHEMY "ritual" cover song) and one track recorded in 1999 for the Northern heritage compilation 7". I would greatly recommend this CD to all those who like Finnish Black Metal and its best representatives (HORNA, SATANIC WARMASTER, CLANDESTINE BLAZE, MIRKHALL) because this Black/Dark Metal is not really different from the one played by HORNA (you will immediately recognize the vocals of Satanic Warmaster), i.e. Northern freezing metal. Worth getting it.
