New Krieg releases on horizon

New Krieg releases on horizon
November 19, 2007, 03:01:22 PM
Krieg/Caina split 7 inch: Krieg's first new track in 3 years, Caina perform a dark form of postrock mixed with black metal, sort of like Swans in parts. No label yet.

Krieg/Lust split: Krieg's track was recorded during "Blue Miasma" in the style of Archgoat. Lust's track is much older as this split's gone through many labels hands and Krieg's track has been changed multiple times, mostly due to issues with sampling and one plants refusal on a basis of subject matter. Werewolf Records(fin) will release this.

Tormenting Necrometal II: new demo, raw and harsh.

The Black Plague II: Fetish and Disease: unreleased and rare material from 2002-2005, with two new covers being recorded of Silexater and Satanic Warmaster. Redstream will handle this.

Today KRIEG announces it’s joining with Inferna Profundus Records to reissue “Patrick Bateman”, KRIEG’s definitive black/noise statement from 2003. Based on Bret Easton Ellis’ nihilistic novel “American Psycho”, “Patrick Bateman” is close to fifteen minutes of the harshest and most feral material KRIEG ever set to tape. This reissue will feature a newly recorded bonus track in a (de)evolution of the spirit of the original recording as well as new packaging and linear notes from main member Imperial.

Track Listing:
VI (bonus track) Sample here: www.myspace.com/infernaprofundusrecords

This recording is considered one of KRIEG’s finest displays of raw and savage intensity and will appeal to those not just interested in black metal’s extremes but also those into noise and power electronics. Scheduled for an early 2011 release, limited to 500 copies. First 100 copies comes in digipack format with booklet. and different layout.

Pre orders for digipack version are taken now. Labels and distros ask for wholesale prices. Limited trade available.
