Science is useful in that it can allow measured observation of the mystic wonder of reality, to be put to practical use, by humans, to help them co-exist with, and be part-of that reality.
It becomes totally counterproductive when seen as a replacement for reality, or a means to run counter to reality.
And be aware: the term 'reality' has zero meaning to most humans, who imagine it to be something that humans create.
Concerned human: "Gee, sorry to hear your house burned down! That must be awful!"
Unconcerned human: "Not a problem! I was covered by insurance."
Either you see it, or you don't.
And, statistically, you probably won't.
