What are some good sugar substitutes?
I've been using a stevia brand by President's Choice, but it's being discontinued due to low sales. It's about 50% stevia and 50% corn maltodextrine and it tastes great. I tried a couple other stevia brands but they were practically tasteless and I had to use many packages at once.
I noticed these other brands didn't have any corn maltodextrine in them, so I'm thinking it might be the corn maltodextrine that had given the President's Choice brand the good taste.
Aspartame is less healthy than sugar, sucralose too I believe from what I've read--and in both bases my stomach confirms it--but I'm considering corn maltodextrine or dextrose, any advice? Or does anyone know a good stevia brand?
