Fence Sitting.

Fence Sitting.
April 12, 2012, 06:07:40 AM
"Sitting on the fence is a dangerous course.
You could even catch a bullet from the Peacekeeping Force."

Mark Knoppfler.

Leftists label me a Right-Winger.
Rightists label me a Left-Winger.
Christians call me evil.
Atheists call me a religious nut.

WTF is going on here?
Is the entire population so completely lacking in perception that a potential ally is seen to be an enemy?
Is everybody so totally out of balance, that anyone who is, gets lynched?
Is there really no way that extremists can recognize their extremeness?
Is it really so impossible for anybody to put on the brakes and simply stop?

I have a simple message.
"You don't have to be insane!"
"You can wake up, feeling good, not hating anybody, and enjoy being alive."
"You don't have to spend your time arguing, fighting, scheming, lying."
"You don't have to prove anything to anyone, or demand they provide proof to you."

Do only crows know this?

Don't pop a wing out of joint patting yourself on the back, old bird ;-\

On the other hand, I can't help but thinking that if most people hate you, you're probably on to something.

Cheers, son!

Ah, nice to see a bit of maturity.
All these threads and comments make me think of a likely winner in the who-shall-we-genocide competition.

Kill anyone who is:
a: Not terminally depressed.
b: Capable of rational thought.
c; Anyone positive.
d: Anyone with a sense of humour.

That should drop the population by one or two.
It's a start.

How disappointing. I read the thread title as "Face sitting".

Kill anyone who is:
d: Anyone with a sense of humour.

Shut up, Russell.

I used to believe in neutrality, but not anymore. It's all just shades of grey.

I used to believe in neutrality. Then I realized it meant stagnation and not picking a direction, ergo more of the same. It is tacit consent to the others doing whatever stupid stuff they want to. It's a slave morality.

I hope I get there someday, when I was young it was all shades of grey. Now the shades are starting to show that they're either mostly white or mostly black.
but i'm not sure if i can tinkle in front of a crowd.
