Lower-Class Becoming Redundant

This is the future. A new wave of robots, far more adept than those now commonly used by automakers and other heavy manufacturers, are replacing workers around the world in both manufacturing and distribution.

Prediction? The political left will get a massive short term boost as a result of the economic disposession of the underclass but it will end up extinct in the long haul. The underclass will live on but turn to subsistence, marauding, and scavenging. The overclass minority will end up insulated from them economically, politically, socially and of course genetically.

Some comments on the article make a good point:

What is the point of replacing jobs with robots if you're making things that require jobs to sell? If these people no longer have jobs to go to, they don't even need to buy cars.

Will we just create more BS make-work jobs or just let everyone sit at home and get free government sponsored pot and video games?

Most men within Romney's new regime will be drafted into the military and we'll simply march across Mexico and Central America to recover wasted resources and a polluted environment. Many Mexicans will die and the united States will no longer have a population problem. I really enjoyed clips from Romney's last speech as he pointed to the camera in the Uncle Sam pose telling Americans to die or to live. Romney will be the spitting image of Uncle Sam once his great hair greys.

So it's like a game of Command and Conquer? Consume all the resources before your enemies!
