Opinions.

Logic ought to be derived from experience, otherwise you get solipsism. We are really big on abstraction. Reducing nature whenever possible to fit nicely into little theories.

Its quite clear which ones of those at least are opinions. As for someone who doesnt know what a fly is, well they can go fuck themselves.

 Ha!

Abstraction. The technique of removing the life from life, and turning it into a hypothesis, instead.
Yes, humans specialize in this.
Crows don't.
They live.

The abstractionist regards life, world, universe, and embarks upon a quest to discover how it started.
Maybe it didn't start. Maybe it will not end, either.
Trying to discover something that may not even exist can drive men mad.
This doesn't stop them doing it, though.
Beginning/end. These are finite concepts.
Accept them, and you become what you worship: The Finite.
Accept infinity, and become what you worship: The Infinite.

Crows don't waste a single moment wondering how everything started.
They all know that it is.
They don't wonder how it will end, either.
That way, for them, it doesn't.

The value of being present sometimes is very high. However the value of abstraction sometimes is probably more important. It has allowed us to stop throwing poo at each other. It has allowed us to create living environments, where we can sit down in an unnatural position to be aware of things without a lion ripping our throat out.

Also, abstraction has allowed us to ponder the great mysteries of the universe, without which, i wager, the simple 'experience' you advocate would be meaningless. We feel a 'sense of the infinite' when we just experience without 'abstracting', because we have abstracted in the past.

Apparently being called a real troll is a compliment.
And here I was feeling insulted.
Invulnerability is my aim.
Difficult when you're as sensitive as I.
But I am getting it.
Oh yes.
I'll soon be nibbling green kryptonite on melba toast.

Why do you want to be invulnerable? Maybe the goal is to be more  vulnerable. Maybe its by our vulnerability that we can discover true love.
Loki hates invulnerability. He will always find a way to break it.
