Like an everflowing stream

Re: Like an everflowing stream

I have experience with just about everything.
Which is why so many people don't have any idea what I'm talking about, having so little, themselves.
What are you talking about, anyway?
Did you walk on a rusty nail, once, and so liked the feeling of it penetrating your foot that you want everyone else to experience it? That's deathmetal, to me. A symptom of an error.
On the other hand, errors are the very things that some require to show them how to avoid making them again.

As for wanking with the brain: it only goes to show how profoundly you misunderstand the worthwhile use of a brain. Brain give man ability to share experience with other man. Knucklehead not know this. Him think brain only good for insult others and blow stuff up.
Crow not know why knucklehead do this.
Crow not care to know, neither.

Strange words from someone so opposed to eloquence, you emphasise at every turn the value of looking past superficialities like these and communicate directly. Why the change now?

There is no change.
Eloquence is an art that like any other, may be mastered.
It is the intention behind the eloquence, that can either create, or destroy.
The personality behind the avatar.

We have some new posters, here, encouraged by the weeding of the weeds, and the banishment of the avatars of those weeds. Yet weeds grow back. It is their nature.
These new posters are the cultivated wonders that the practised gardener welcomes.
They are the entire purpose of the garden.

Gardeners have a hard-on for weeds. They say:
"One year's seeds, makes seven year's weeds."
So they pay special attention to exorcizing those weeds before they can seed.
That done, the garden flourishes.

Thus in a forum, both the avatar and the personality behind it, if weeds, must go.
But nature, ever adaptable, may - over time - convert a weed to a glorious flower.
This forum aims for that.
There are few who realize it.

Now, two people (trystero and BillHopkins) have said that they want fearless discussion out of these boards. Are you guys used to a lot of fear in your discussions out there, in reality?

What's a fearful discussion anyway?

A place for exchanging high-quality ideas without the trappings of ego. I come here because there's a lot of opportunity to learn from other posters and I like to think I'm not a detriment to discussion. Furry porn is always appreciated, too.

I think it's one where truth is viewed as less important than how people react emotionally to ideas. Arguing with a leftist: if you say something that don't agree with, they view it as a personal attack and proof you're an uncaring hitler-like monster.
Liberalism is moral syphilis.

Either you guys don't know what porn is, or your libidos are far too strong.

Porn is the depiction of whatever does it for you.
Rabbits, Maine Coons and Raccoons do it for me.
Some guys get excited about naked women...
It takes all sorts.

Ah, I see. Ego-tripping disguised as intellectual discussion. I never thought of that as particularly fearful, but perhaps you are right. I don't think liberals fear the dangerous ideas as much as they fear the thought that they could be in the wrong, though.

Not furry, but I like ducks! Beautiful colors. Nothing brings me peace of mind like sitting alone by a lake watching the ducks, listening to the QUACKs.
