I really enjoyed this, aquarius.  I think the point is that each side serves to enhance the other side despite the fact that they are "opposites."
His Majesty at the Swamp / Black Arts Lead to Everlasting Sins / Diabolical Fullmoon Mysticism / Oath of Black Blood / Privilege of Evil / Dawn of Possession / In Battle There is No Law / Thousand Swords / To Mega Therion

Wanting is not the opposite of needing, but yes, I get it now.

Many of these pairs (I don't know yet if I should consider them in opposition) exist because one is a natural or logical extension of the other.

For example, you could never have a thought if you never felt anything.

The world would have no substance if it could not be pitted against the automatically-defined self.

You could not filter anything if not having sensed it before.

Communication occurs prior to entertainment; the first is not contingent on the second.

So I think Jim is right; one enhances the other, but cyclically.

As the human mind works not only via contrast, but also from personal experience. Bandying about terms such as good or bad is meaningless without context except in one instance - it is always great to have a ladyboy dressed as Jesus ram an aubergine silicone rod into your ass.
