pettiness kills the soul

pettiness kills the soul

To the moden men, the infinite exists no more. All is trivial, petty and limited for them. (their ego is limitless but still petty) In fear of death and suffering, they try to impose limits to the soul. They shut down their own souls but what's worse is that they try to restrain those who strive for more. For them, one must be crazy it he thinks otherwise. Social interactions can be particuliarily suffocating if one is conscient of this game being at work. Even with the new christianity, it's all pettiness. I almost want to have no soul than to have it trapped for ever in their paradize.

Pettiness can't kill a soul. A soul has to exist before it can be killed.
Pettiness is an indication of there being no soul to kill.
But pettiness sabotages the possibility of there ever being a soul.
You see it everywhere. Atheists really have no idea.
Not liking the idea of 'God', they cut themselves off, from what they might otherwise become, by simply remaining open to knowledge they do not yet possess.

The ongoing emo porn of the hippie generation is a big part of it. Live Aid and Mother Theresa were representative in the 1980s. However, they were actually accomplishing something by bringing terrible into a state of pretty bad for a few years before rebounding back to terrible.

Now it comes down to the completely useless like Down's kids getting university scholarships or the latest pitiful foreign adoption by everyone's favorite actors. How cute. How adorable. How nice. But what, eighty-six million supportive tweets later, is better as a result of all the masturbatory emoting?
