Generic post-1996 black metal:

With one or two unique elements, this is an interesting take on black metal aesthetics, but lacking any real direction, falls apart if you hear more than thirty-second segments. Despite this failing, it's better than or indistinguishable from almost everything else I've heard in the last 24 hours that is not a known classic, so it may be a new direction, albeit an aesthetic one, since it is devoid of content and thus already I wonder what was I think a moment ago? probably this review is ending, I wonder, or maybe it just began. How postmodern. Three out five bloody crushed Satanic skulls!!!! It'll rip your head off!!!

I listened, with an open mind.

Not particularly bad.

Had some interesting moments.

Didn't pull together for me.

Compared to: Godflesh "Streetcleaner" - opinion confirmed.

The open and close of "Two Hunters" is good stuff.

This really is hipster friendly music. It's stripped of everything aggressive and adventurous in spirit. Instead it's a just an endless whine.

Funny, because I can't help but feel awestruck whenever I play the first track of "Two Hunters". I've never witnessed the most lofty of delights that nature has to offer, but "Dia Artio" makes me think I have.
