Failure

I don't even think he fully misunderstands the content.  The "Death metal lyrics and themes, while not to be taken literally, celebrate the outer extremes of human experience, such as the motivations of serial killers, the activities of the walking dead, death itself, and isolation." part is pretty accurate (although I would have added the words "detached from social reality" to the phrase "celebrate the outer extremes of human experience"), as is most of the rest of it.  The part about empathy and ostricization from society is the part I have an issue with.

The list of bands is pretty shitty, though.

Those two points are something I think we all can agree on.

I think society is the one that is ostrich-ized.

Added new sentence to http://www.wikihow.com/Appreciate-Authentic-Death-/-Black-Metal
I think it pretty fits:

Quote
Remember that artistic, high quality music is never fully understood and appreciated at first listen. Give your music several thorough listens, at different days, not 5 times at once. It's really important. Your mind kind of gets acquainted with the narration, structure, melodies of music. Only after that full appreciation of it's spirit and ideas comes to realization.

Would be grateful if someone edited my mistakes..

Done, and thank you.

Unfortunately, they're trying to merge it with this one:

^ from the link you provided -

"Be sure to be careful even at Christian concerts, don't go into the moshpit without experience or a friend, or both, don't go without knowledge of how concerts work, and what to expect."

OH LAWDY LAWDY!!!! MOSHING 4 JESUS!
No.

Having reviewed the thread, baby Jesus is most definitely weeping at this point.

Making death metal more accessible to christians and such, ridiculous...

Most of the bands don't exemplify the nihilistic implications of death metal anyways.

Lastly, sometimes the more simplistic personalities are the more efficient ones.

Wikis are Crowd propaganda. They want to make everything safe for idiots, so they who fear they are idiots feel safe.

There's tons of these things on the site. The death metal one is particularly astonishing. It suggests dieing your hair blue. I can't help that someone(maybe from this site) made it as a joke.
