metal-by-numbers effort featuring Ozzy's typically atrocious pop music vocal processing.  everybody knows Iommi is capable of endlessly generating riffs but this song is a fucking charade.

That was my impression of Psycho Man and Selling My Soul. Stock heavy metal straight from the manufacturer oozing with Ozzy's handicapped attempt at melodrama.

Wow, that's goddamn boring.

Better than expected, though, I have to admit.

Rick Rubin production: If it's loud, it's not loud enough!

One of the best metal analysis from Brett in years.  A lot relevant and interesting topics are touched on.  Bravo.

I actually enjoyed this a bit more than the endless stomp-a-long drone of the last Dio Sabbath album. Still nothing I'd probably spend money on, unless the other songs are a bit more complex. The longer run times had me hoping that they would build on the progressive rock heavy metal fusion of Vol. 4 through Sabotage (my personal favorite Sabbath albums), but if this song is any indication, they're just doing long songs for the sake of being long.

It's not that bad. As Cynical stated, it's dull; I think it's because it just repeats itself too much.

A lot better than I would've thought. Riffs are pretty cool towards the end, Ozzy doesn't sound like complete crap, the drum patterns are interesting...hopefully the rest of the album will aspire towards more complex structures.
No.

Having reviewed the thread, baby Jesus is most definitely weeping at this point.
