They all tell you to go here:

http://flac.sourceforge.net/

Don't. These people are retards who are trying to push their stupid frontend on you. In addition, their site is written by an illiterate monkey.

Instead:

1. Download Nero flac dll plugin:

http://www.bitburners.com/software/flac-v10033/3816/

2. Unzip file and place nxMyFLA.dll file in this directory:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ahead\AudioPlugins

That's it! Wasn't it easier than the retarded, obscure and incorrect information at the official site?

Nero is horrible in the first place.

If you want to do an additional two steps and waste another ten minutes, then those instructions are perfect.

I haven't found any problems with Nero. If there's something specific, can you warn us?

Thank you for that link. I've been using Nero for my cd burning. I've had no problems with it so far.

It's bloated beyond belief.

I'd rather use smaller separate programs that are programmed well to do one thing and are free!

I think many of us want a single solution because we're bored with memorizing different software programs; when a Nero install is 228 mb, that's not a large issue (that's the size of my install, including FLAC files).

I do wish they'd return to a simpler model, but now they're trying to compete with the software put out by the big guys, so they're making some dubious decisions.
