New York's death metal legends Suffocation has announced that they will be entering the studio on January 31st, to record their brand new album, "Blood Oath." They will once again be recording with Joe Cincotta with Zack Ohren handling the mixing duties. The albums artwork will be drawn this time around by Jon Zig who has previously worked with the likes of Gorgasm, Disgorge and Deeds Of Flesh.

Some of the albums tentative song titles include, "Undeserving," "Provoking The Disturbed," "Come Hell Or High Priest," "Dismal Dream," "Confines Of Disillusion" and the title track. More album and tour details will be revealed shortly.

Some of those tentative song titles are pretty rough.

"Come Hell Or High Priest???" Oh dear...clever by half.

I'll keep my ears open for it. I hope they put out good material!

One of my favorite songs from them is Pierced From Within, from the same album name.
