who could give an explanation for this contradiction?

If shows are not accepted while the album is like that already have dates?

I'm pretty sure they are also touring with Absu/Averse Sefira in mid-late June (at least, they are listed on an Atlanta venue's website).

Maybe they issued this statement after they had booked these shows? Who knows.

Either way, if they decide to hop on the Absu/Averse Sefira tour, that will simply be the cherry on top of the excellent concert sundae.
