You could check for example "The October Country" and "The Martian Chronicles".

I prefer the original title of this novel, "The Silver Locusts" much more apt.

Make sure you read "Something Wicked this way Comes".
On a personal note, my favourite is "Dandelion Wine". But it doesnt really fit in the Sci-fi genre.
